At the heart of the Berber country, on a plateau at the foot of the Hight Atlas, Skoura is a large 120 km² palm grove clos the Oued Bouijhila. To approximately 40 km from Ouarzazate, its geographical situation between the Atlas and its boundaries offers a moderated climate near the desert. Famous for its kasbahs, of which Amerhidil's one that used to appear on the ancient 50-dirhams notes. Skoura is the first stage on the Dadés road, which leads to Keelaat M' Gouna, the valley of Dadés, Boulmane and the gorges of Todgha. Ouarzazate Airport is just a short drive away and private parking is available.
